Behind the Lens - Biography
Zach Asato is an 21-year-old landscape and cityscape photographer from Phoenix, Arizona. He is an adventure-seeker who likes to explore the unknown and photograph the wonders the world has to offer. He tries to tell a story, set a mood, and explore society and culture. He has worked over the past few years to curate an Instagram portfolio (@zachasato) to showcase some of his travels and share his experiences with others. He has worked closely with other Instagramers in the community and companies such as Sand Cloud and Woodsnap on social media, promoting the Aloha Spirit wherever he goes.
His work has been featured online via @BeautifulDestinations, @Wonderful_Places, @TheLuxuryCollection, @HawaiianAirlines, and @TopParisPhoto, among other major travel pages. Additionally, his work has been showcased in Cheslea Market, located in the heart of New York City through Woodsnap, and also at the Lumoid HQ in San Francisco as part of the Summer of Lumoid Photography Competition.

In the fall of 2016, Zach will be heading to NYC to study finance and global business at New York University.
